Our chaga is never cultivated. It is selectively harvested from live standing birch trees with care, helping preserve the tree and allowing the forest cycle to continue naturally.

We harvest, process, and bag our chaga ourselves, delivering it to your door in one of its purest and most natural forms. Chi Chaga mushrooms are preserved in chunks to help maintain their freshness, character, and rich forest taste. We carefully process the whole chaga, including the dark exterior, which naturally contains compounds associated with birch trees, such as betulin. Chaga also contains naturally occurring beta-glucans, betulinic acid, and a range of minerals, making it one of the most valued mushrooms in traditional wellness practices.

How To Brew Chaga Chunks?
- Bring to a boil a small handful in 4 cups of water and let it steep for 10 min.
- You can save the Chaga chunks in the refrigerator and re-infuse up to 3 times. We encourage this practice since wild Chaga is rare and it contains a vast amount of nutrients that can be extracted on multiple infusions.

I’ve tried a ton of different Chaga and I often get a weird taste or consistency with some. This is the one I’ll keep coming back to. I got the powdered kind first which was great for tea but I’ve been incorporating the chunked kind in my cooking and it’s perfect! I had read so much about the benefits but couldn’t get over a lot of the other product I tried. This is definitely the one!

Chaga is one of those products/herbs/remedies that is really starting to drip/funnel into the mainstream.
I guess in a way I jumped onto the Chaga train because of its growing popularity. I really do like the mission of this company, the way they deliver the product, and the advice and recommendations of how to prepare the tea. This company promotes re-use of the chaga chunks, to make sure you are getting the most out of each piece and to also make sure that we are not wasting or endangering the mushroom.
The tea is rich – especially when turned into a chaga-latte with nut milk and turmeric. I find that I get multiple uses out of each chunk, so the bag of chaga will last a while. The instructions are also straight forward. When I’m done brewing 1 – 2 chaga chunks for 2 minutes. I plop them into an airtight container and reuse them 4 – 5 times. If the brew is weak I add another piece in, but still try to maximize the use of each chaga piece.
